If you need to move your existing mattress or box spring, these mattress bags are an economical solution to provide some protection against the elements.
The twin bags will fit thin (less than 8" thick) twin and twin XL mattresses and box springs. They are 1.5 mil, which is admittedly not adequate for heavy-duty use. We recommend using two bags for heavier mattresses.
The queen/king bags are 4.0 mil and are suitable for more demanding usage. However, extremely heavy queen and king mattresses should still be double-bagged even with 4.0 mil plastic.
If you're shipping your mattress, it should also be boxed. We do not sell boxes online, but they are periodically available in our St. Albert and Calgary warehouses as we try our best to keep boxes in good condition after completing a local delivery. These reusable cardboard boxes are free to pick up for our local customers when available.
Mattress bags are not stocked in every size in all of our stores. Please call ahead to verify availability, and to provide our team a chance to prepare your bag(s) for pick up before you arrive.
If you're not local to us and need bags today, most U-Haul truck rental locations and Home Depot stores stock mattress bags.
