Egyptian Cotton Sheets in Canada
Did you know that genuine Egyptian cotton sheets are exceedingly rare? Egyptian cotton represents approximately 0.3% of typical worldwide cotton production each year.
The challenge is that the dictionary definition of Egyptian cotton is very vague. However, we feel it is important to clarify that Egyptian species cotton is incredibly rare and very special.
The Mattress & Sleep Company believes in labelling our sheeting accurately and transparently. This is why most of our sheeting is labelled correctly as long staple or ELS (extra-long staple) cotton. ELS cotton is typically Supima, Pima or Sea Island cotton.
